Went for a walk on a path along the River Wye, downstream from Hereford on the afternoon of July the 13th 2021, when I heard the unmistakable buzz of honeybees overhead. I stopped for a moment to investigate, and I could see bees going in and coming out of the hollow of a tree. The bees were nesting about 3 or so metres up the tree.
