The nest is in the Cathedral at Christchurch College Oxford. The Cathedral is the smallest in the UK.

The gardener at the college told me the hive has been in operation for at least as long as he had been there (47 years!).

The entrance is just to the left of the scaffold board. The dark brown propolis marks the entrance.
