Free Living

An unexpected and joyful discovery during a lunch break: high up in a pine tree was spotted a colony busy about its business. The tree is on a small, quiet roundabout (rotary) in Gloucestershire.

A few other bee lovers were happy to see them, too, but most of the gathering was deep in discussion and didn't really notice them.

There was something poignant about seeing the bees that day, as the purpose of the gathering was for several groups to find ways of working in harmony and mutual support for the benefit of life on earth.
