Bees soon took up occupancy of the new tree nest, but vacated it during the winter.

A blue tit took residence in the spring.

6 weeks later a swarm arrive and decided to remove the blue tit's nest!

While I was tempted to remove the nest to make way for a swarm, leaving nature to decide was undoubtably the right choice.
