This tree has been occupied since at least last summer (2022) . They were swarming when we saw them first. The next time we saw them they were settled - that was later in the season. Have seen them active this year 2 to 3 times so far. It’s an oak tree (we think) on the edge of a wooded area of mostly oaks and conifers in Surrey UK.
