Free Living

When did you last look up when passing a proper tree? There is a whole world up there! This one meter thick dinosaur of a conifer lives in symbiosis with a honey bee superorganism. In exchange for shelter from pretty much everything, the bees tend the tree's inner wound with propolis. This is how honey bees lived for millions of years before our ancestors climbed down from their trees.
