About a year ago, while out hiking, I stumbled on a swarm --one of nature's greatest gifts. I'll never forget that evening. I found them in the middle of a local forest, so I assume they are wild. Wait, honey bees live in trees?? I've read all about wild bees and have been looking for bee trees ever since. (No luck yet.)
