This willow tree is between 80 and 100 years old and sits near the Ash Creek and has been home to honeybees for over 20+ years. An elderly couple who live on the creek told me the willows were planted around then and that the hollow has been active with bees for 20 to 30 years. We took a peek inside and it was quite remarkable.
