My bees are in an old (50 yr) olive tree in my front yard. I noticed them about a month ago, just a few bees going in and out. Now we have quite a stream everyday. They seem happy and head out in several directions. I work in my front room with the tree in front of me and I enjoy watching the bees. I doubt they will hurt the tree as long as they don't burrow down to the root system.
